Holding the giant signature Hoegaarden glass always make you feel like a badass. People with a sweet tooth are drawn to the white head beer’s floral aromatic scent and sweet citrusy notes. And now, for a sweeter interlude, the popular Belgian brand just launched another bottle in Manila aimed at those who know how to appreciate a pink drink. Hoegaarden Rosée is a concoction of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, Curaçao orange peel, Hoegaarden yeast, sugar, sweeteners, raspberry, strawberry, apple, and elderberry Hoegaarden Rosée launched in a Draft Gastropub decked in pink and white blooms. A slightly lighter beer than the original white, with only a three percent alcohol level, the Rosée is a refreshing drink for afternoon gatherings and can even be consumed during lunch breaks due to its low ABV. Not your usual Draft Gastropub scene: the place was decked with white and pink florals for the Hoegaarden Rosée launch Lots of brands have tried to capture particular markets (our guess: young, new to drinking, probably female) with alcopops and flavored beers. We have always felt that the female market needed more drink options, so we are delighted to bring the Rosée to the Philippines. Its sweet taste and lightness is perfect for the tropical climate of the Philippines,” says Chester Cabrera, Marketing Manager of Booze Online, Hoegaarden’s exclusive distributor in the Philippines. Hoegaarden Rosée in its 750 ml bottle, 330 ml can and 250 ml bottle The creation of the fruity pink beer was inspired by the story of jam jars that the old villagers of Hoegaarden used to drink their beers in. The legend says that when they ran out of glasses to use, the residents would drink their beers using their emptied jam jars with bits of fruits still in it that would infuse the beer with a sweet flavor. The Rosée is a concoction of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, Curaçao orange peel, Hoegaarden yeast, sugar, sweeteners, raspberry, strawberry, apple, and elderberry. Hoegaarden Rosée is available in 330 ml can, 250 ml bottle and a 750 ml bottle.
