Christmas is around the corner and if you’re preparing for the holiday festivities, you may want to serve this dessert drink at parties alongside (or in place of) the more traditional cider, eggnog, and mulles wine. The spicy-sweet aroma of gingerbread syrup will evoke memories of Christmas platters full of gingerbread cookies.



  • 45 mL Maker’s Mark
  • 15 mL gingerbread syrup
  • 45 mL apple juice
  • 10 mL lemon juice


  1. Combine all ingredients in a tin shaker.
  2. Add ice and shake until ice cold.
  3. Strain into a coupette.
  4. Garnish with apple slices in a cocktail stick.
  5. Serve with a gingerbread cookie.
