Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Pinterest Dia de Muertos is an iconic two-night Mexican festival that honors the lives of deceased family and friends—in fact, our modern All Saints Day customs may have been influenced by Mexican rituals performed in remembrance of the dead. Jose Cuervo brought the Mexican cultural tradition to the Philippines with a sold-out Day of the Dead Party on October 28 at the Eye at Green Sun, Makati. Costumed partygoers packed the Eye and danced to the beats of Spectrum K, Jay Santos, Toy Armanda, Brian Cua, Kat DJ, Khai Lim, and Mike Lavet. There was also a full bar that included a special one-night-only cocktail: the Cuervo Marigold, a tribute to the flower that the Aztecs associate with death.
