This decadent treat is something that will warm anyone’s heart. Sweet, creamy, with a deep chocolate taste, this indulgent beverage will make you forget your holiday stress and embrace the Christmas spirit. If you want to make the occasion merrier, a splash or two (or three, we won’t judge you) of cognac will do the trick.


  • Serves two:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 blocks tablea
  • 2 tbsp Hershey’s powder
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or to taste whipped cream splash or two of cognac (for grown-ups)


  1. Heat water in pot. Add tablea and mix until dissolved.
  2. Add milk and heat.
  3. Add Hershey’s powder and sugar and stir until dissolved.
  4. Slowly simmer to a boil.
  5. Rim inside of cup with chocolate syrup Pour hot chocolate into cup.
  6. Add whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles and Stik-O.
  7. Add cognac to make the occasion merrier.
