Now this is a drink you’d be torn whether you’re going to share or keep to yourself. It smells fresh and goes down smooth. It’s citrusy with a hint of basil. Choose to dispense in a shot glass or on the rocks.

Ingredients:

  • 150 ml Ginebra gin
  • 50 simple syrup
  • 50 ml calamansi juice
  • basil leaves

Directions:

  1. Transfer gin to a container.
  2. Clap 8 basil leaves and put it in a shaker together with syrup and calamansi juice.
  3. Add ice and shake.
  4. Put some basil leaves inside gin bottle, then pour the cocktail into the bottle.

NOTE: This recipe makes 3 batches (2 servings per batch). If keeping overnight, remove basil leaves to prevent mixture from getting bitter.
