“I’m perfectly capable of fixing my own breakfast. As a matter of fact, I had a peanut butter sandwich and two whisky sours,” says Richard Sherman in the movie The Seven Year Itch. Whisky and peanut butter it is (but we don’t suggest you have this in the morning)! This cocktail is named after the iconic movie where you see Marilyn Monroe with her flipping white dress over a subway grate.

If you want a sweet-spicy cocktail, this one’s for you. This can be your dessert, since it’s creamy and peanut-buttery, with a heat you feel at the back of your throat. It’s like an alcoholic spicy Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Who wouldn’t want some of that?

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml Bourbon
  • 1 bar spoon Chili Peanut Butter
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 30 ml egg white
  • 20 ml sugar syrup

Directions:

  1. Add ingredients in a shaker. Dry shake.
  2. Add ice and shake. Double strain in an Old Fashioned glass.
  3. Garnish with lemon peel, peanut butter and chili powder.
  4. Serve with Reese’s peanut butter cups. Enjoy!
