“I came up with this hot cocktail because of the nippy weather during Christmas season. I used Don Papa rum for its vanilla and cinnamon notes that pair well with almond milk. This drink will make you feel like you’re having a white Christmas.” – Cedric

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Don Papa rum
  • 30 ml Baileys
  • 90 ml almond milk
  • 20 ml pandan syrup
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Glass used: teacup

Garnish: bear

Directions:

  1. Pour Don Papa rum and pandan syrup in a teacup.
  2. Add steamed almond milk and a dash of Angostura bitters.
  3. Stir to mix.
  4. Add milk foam and red sprinkles.
  5. Serve while it’s still hot.

Tasting Notes: The drink is cold at first sip because of the added milk foam. It then warms you up when you reach the creamy, milky liquid beneath it. The vanilla and gulaman will remind you of your childhood samalamig (vanilla, caramelized brown sugar syrup, and gulaman).
