Recipe by Richie Cruz, industrial partner at 5ynco located at 2 Scout Dr. Lazcano Street Corner Mother Ignacia Avenue, Quezon City

“Uncle Scrooge is the granddad of Donald Duck in Disney movies. Although he is grumpy, he loves his grand nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Uncle Scrooge reminds me of the saying, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.’” This Christmas season, may people have an open mind and not judge people based merely on perception. Each person is unique and we can all live in harmony if we accept each one’s diversity.” – Richie

Tasting notes: “This is a “no ice” drink which is spirit forward, a bit bitter but with nutty and fruity notes. This drink can either be served as an aperitif/digestive. I intended this drink to be made simple so that everyone can make it. No ice and no garnish.”

Note: This drink will not be available on the menu of 5ynco, but you can ask them to whip it up for you if you drop by. is your learned drinking buddy who can tell you what to drink, what you’re drinking and where to drink.
