Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Pinterest Running on its 5th year, Bacardi-Martini Philippines continuous to hone aspiring bartenders through its Bacardi U-Mix competition. The competition’s goal is to to search for the most creative student mixologist in the Philippines and to prepare students early and inspire them to join the industry as well as be a potential contestant for the local and global Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition after they graduate from school. In partnership with Pinoytender Management Consultancy. the culmination of the competition is happening on February 17, 2018 at The Ruins, Poblacion. This is the culminating activity of the Bacardi University for students, which was held last September. There are 26 student bartenders competing for the title and Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila is the current champion based on the last challenges scores. The participating Universities include: Far Eastern University; University of Santo Tomas; Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila; Lyceum of the Philippines Cavite; St. Scholastica’s College of Manila; Colegio de Sta. Teresa de Avila; Dela Salle University Cavite; University of Baguio; University of the Cordilleras; St. Louis University; Philippine Cultural College; and Manila Taytana College. The winning student will receive a P5,000 plus Bar Kit from Bevtools and Certificate, the second runner up will receive a Bevtools and a P3,000 plus cash with Bar Kit and Certificate, the third placer will get P2,000 plus Bar Kit and Certificate. Special Awards will be given to the Best Cocktail and Presentation. NOTE: There will be limited seats available on February 17, make sure you come early if you want to be able to cheer for your favorite contestant.
