Akashi Archivo is one of the cocktails DrinkManila created for Archivo 1984 for the La Fuerza Party last March 1, 2018. This highball-inspired drink is perfect for hot days spent roasting under the tropical sun or humid nights chilling with friends. Akashi Red Blended Whisky is excellent for mixing. The hint of sweet peach from the Creme du Peche balances the bitter tannins from the green tea, and the ginger ale lightens it up.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml Akashi Red Blended Japanese Whisky
  • 5 ml/1 barspoon Creme du Peche
  • 30 ml Green tea
  • 180 ml Canadian Dry Ginger ale

Directions:

  1. Pour ingredients except for ginger ale into the glass with ice.
  2. Stir. Top with ginger ale.
  3. Garnish with thin ginger slice and a lemon twist.
