Join DrinkManila for A Month-Long Celebration of World Gin Day

Gin is the hot spirit of the moment, and people can’t stop drinking it and talking about it. We know we haven’t!

In celebration of World Gin Day on June 8, DrinkManila.com will have a month-long celebration with offered festive gin treats for gin enthusiasts, seasoned drinkers, social imbibers, and gin newbies alike.

Neil Huston started World Gin Day in 2009 and it was then taken over by cocktail blogger Emma Stokes aka Gin Monkey in 2013, World Gin Day is dedicated to celebrating all things gin. Whether you’re a gin enthusiast, seasoned drinker, social imbiber, or looking for an introduction to this distilled spirit, World Gin Day is the perfect occasion to celebrate all things gin.

1) June 7, 2019, Friday 
World Gin Day celebration in partnership with New World Makati Hotel and Apotheke Craft Spirits
Where: Bar Rouge, New World Makati Hotel, Esperanza Street corner Makati Avenue, Ayala Center, Makati, 1228 Metro Manila

5 pm to 9 pm — Taste 12 variants of gins from Apotheke Craft Spirits in the G&T buffet for only P1000. The first 5 customers will get an Ocean Madison Burgundy glass and a gift from 8!Botanicals.

Gins featured: Martin Millers (England), Chase GB gin (England), Gin Sul (Germany), Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz (Australia), ARC gin and ARC gin barrel reserve (Philippines), Citadelle Reserve (France), Filliers Pine Blossom and Tangerine (Belgium), Del Professore Monsieur and Del Professore Madame (Italy), and Roby Marton (Italy)

9 pm to 12 mn — A special guest bar shift with DrinkManila.com’s resident mixologist Icy Mariñas featuring signature gin cocktails using ARC gin barrel reserve, Del Professore Madame, and Martin Millers gins together with Giffard Syrups and Liqueurs.

New World bartenders will also create a special gin cocktail using Gin Sul gin. We encourage guests to share their Gin Cocktail photos on FB / IG. Creative posts will receive gifts during the event.

2) June 9, 2019, Sunday
It’s World Gin Day, and we will celebrate together with the rest of the world at Kartel Rooftop Bar in Poblacion, featuring Apotheke Craft Spirits’ gins. Kill The Sunday Blues (K.S.B.) at Kartel and enjoy craft drinks while listening to the music courtesy of DJ Limsum.

4 pm to 9 pm — Taste 8 variants of gins from Don Revy in the G&T buffet for only P1000

Gins featured: Belgravia, J.J. Whitley London dry, J.J. Whitley Nettle, J.J. Whitley Elderflower, Whitley Neill Raspberry, Whitley Neill Quince, Whitley Neill Small Batch, and Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger.

9 pm to 12 mn — A special guest bar shift with DrinkManila.com’s resident mixologist Icy Mariñas featuring signature gin cocktails using Whitley Neill Lemon Grass and Ginger, Whitley Neill Orange, and Whitley Neill Aloe and Cucumber, and Monin Syrups.
