(DBWY) to launch The Philippine Bar Scene, the nation’s first bar-focused trade show. DBWY, founded by key figures in the bar and beverage industry, curated an event designed to be a one-stop shop for trade buyers looking to establish or enhance their bar programs. As the Philippine F&B scene continues to thrive, consumer interest in specialized beverages is at an all-time high.The Philippine Bar Scene recognizes the critical role of successful beverage programs in boosting revenue for HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafes) outlets. This event showcases spirits, wine, and beer brands, along with barware, equipment, and appliances, offering a multisensory experience where trade buyers can see, smell, feel, and taste the products while learning how to incorporate them into their establishments. Now in its second year, The Philippine Bar Scene returns to the 2nd floor foyer of SMX, bigger and more dynamic than ever. This year’s show boasts 32 booths across different product segments and a packed schedule of activities. The excitement kicks off on Day 1, July 31, 2024, at 11 am with an opening flair demo, followed by flair and cocktail challenges every afternoon, sponsored by various exhibitors. On August 1, 2024, the finals of Xenia Hospitality Solutions, Inc.’s DRINXMASTER cocktail competition will take center stage. Esteemed judges include Volkan Ibil from Shangri-La The Fort, Vibien Garbida from Xenia Hospitality Solutions, Miguel Ledesma from Raion & OTO, and John Coronado, Assistant Bar Manager of the renowned Penicillin HK. Agung Prabowo, co-founder of several award-winning bars, including Penicillin, will also speak as a guest during the competition. The Philippine Bar Scene is committed to raising the quality of the bar industry in the Philippines by providing the tools and knowledge necessary for creating superior bar programs. In collaboration with WOFEX University, the event offers valuable educational opportunities.
