The bar and restaurant scene in Southeast Asia is vibrant, with new spots popping up, but women are still a minority in the F&B world. Instead of just asking for a seat at the table, it’s time for women in the industry to own the table. For International Women’s Month, WeWork and Time Out Singapore are gathering some of the best female bartenders, chefs, and business owners in Southeast Asia for Own The Table, a live webinar on March 31 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm that seeks to amplify women’s voices in the F&B industry and region.

Icy Mariñas, co-founder & head mixologist of DrinkManila.com and Nicole-Marie Ng of Time Out Singapore

Join the webinar to learn from prominent female leaders in F&B, across six cities in Southeast Asia. Moderated by Nicole-Marie Ng of Time Out Singapore, the Own The Table panel will include Icy Mariñas, co-founder & head mixologist of DrinkManila.com (Manila); Jessica Hutch, co-owner of No Sleep Club (Singapore); Talita Setyadi, founder and CEO of Beau Bakery (Jakarta); Elyn Pow, founder of health food chain Rawsome (Kuala Lumpur); and Tam Chudaree Debhakam, the chef of Baan Tepa (Bangkok) and the winner of Top Chef Thailand Season 1.

Elyn Pow, founder of Rawsome (Kuala Lumpur) and Talita Setyadi, founder and CEO of Beau Bakery (Jakarta)

Own The Table is a celebration of the women in the F&B industry. The panel will cover topics like how they got into the business, personal inspirations and innovations in the region, as well as having an honest discussion about the effects COVID-19 has in the industry and future F&B trends, and how we can help each other throughout these difficult times.
