The Manila summer heat becomes too unbearable and turning up the AC isn’t enough to keep you cool. Jim Beam Bourbon flew in their ultimate highball draft machines from Japan to help you chill out this summer at their first Highball Pop-Up Bar located at Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater by the fountain area.

Enjoy six flavorful highball recipes served by Manila’s hottest bartenders at their eye-catching bar while listening to live entertainment and playing some fun games with your pals. The pop-up bar also features a make-your-own-highball booth so that you can practice creating your own perfect serves. Guests can take home the Jim Beam highball glass if they post their video making their highball at the DIY booth onto social media. Various games are available on the premises, and you and your friends can get a free chip to redeem for a game session with each purchase of a highball. Winning players can get extra highballs for free! Call your friends and head down to The Jim Beam Highball Pop-Up Bar from April 24 until April 28. The fun starts from 6 pm until 12 midnight, with extended hours to 2 am on Friday and Saturday.

Live band music from bands like Autotelic and Oh, Flamingo, starts at 9 pm daily, but the activities are already available for the public beginning at 6 pm. Dinner is also available from Nanbantei, Alegria, Coconut Club, Village Tavern, and 205 restaurants, just order from the roving servers and they’d be happy to cater to your food cravings.

1) Classic Highball – A classic serve. It is simple, refreshing, and bubbly.

2) Calamansi Highball – Who needs bubble tea when you can chow down on chewy Nata de Coco bits in this sweet and sour highball.

3) Pink Grapefruit Highball – Bitter, tart, but sweet and enticing. One of DrinkManila’s favorite from the menu.

4) Peach Highball – A crowd favorite. This treat comes with a slice of peach which you can bite before downing the spritzy delight.

5) Watermelon Highball – A perfect summer bubbly. It comes with a slice of cold watermelon that adds sweetness to the drink.
