Here’s how to make the viral drink sensation, dalgona coffee. This frothy, creamy delight has taken the internet by storm and has inspired numerous coffee lovers to try making it at home.

Dalgona coffee is named after a famous Korean street candy which is like toffee or honeycomb that’s placed on a stick. It started gaining popularity after it appeared on a Korean TV show called Pyunstorang in January.

Be your own barista and whip up your own version dalgona coffee. Add a bit of cinnamon, or a splash of booze, or use plant-based milk to make it vegan. However you decide to make and drink it, dalgona coffee will bring a sweet treat into this uncertain time.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp instant coffee
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp hot water
120 ml milk

Directions:

Whisk instant coffee, sugar, and water until thick and aerated.
Pour milk in a glass.
Top with the whipped coffee mixture.
