Need a pick-me-up to get through the work week but worried about your budget? Worry no more. A new start-up coffee shop is making specialty coffee accessible to everyone. PICKUP COFFEE, is leveling the playing field by making their espresso and milk-based beverages more affordable.

A company that started out as a delivery-only venture, PICKUP COFFEE has just set up shop at Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig. Their stall resembles a food truck and is decked in calming pastel green, so it’s hard to miss. Guests can get their drinks to go or chill at one of the tables around the stall. They’re open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, so you can get your caffeine fix any time of the day.

Their drink prices start at Php 50, with nothing above Php 100. Don’t let that price tag fool you. PICKUP COFFEE hasn’t skimped on quality. They source their beans both locally (Mt. Apo) and internationally (Brazil) and use op-of-the-line espresso machines to ensure quality and consistency.

Their official launch has some special deals for lucky coffee addicts. From June 3 to 4, guests can get their drinks upsized for free, plus they’ll be giving away free drinks as well if you drop by from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On top of that, they’ll be picking 10 lucky winners to get a one-year supply of their drinks.

PICKUP COFFEE has classic coffee options on their menu. Go for the Iced Americano (Php 50) for a straightforward dose of caffeine that’s bold, but not bitter. If you’re craving for something sweet and luscious, the Kape Kastila (Php75) with leche condensada and milk is your best bet. For a more unique drink, opt for the Avo Latte (Php 85), which is a classic latte plus real avocado, for a creamier texture and more delicate flavor.

MIlosaurus

If coffee’s not your jam, PICKUP COFFEE has a variety of other drinks to satiate your thirst: the Milosaurus (Php 70), their take on the Milo Dinosaur; the aromatic Matcha Latte (Php 75); and the earthy Golden Turmeric Latte (Php 80). They’ve also collaborated with some local shops  like Butterboy, Malia Home Bakery, Claudia’s Cookies, and Hola Empanadas to offer bites to their customers.

PICKUP COFFEE is planning to set up more physical stores, as well as an app where you can redeem exclusive perks and rewards (sign up to be notified here) so watch out for that. In the meantime, you have their drinks delivered to you through GrabFood and FoodPanda.

PICKUP COFFEE is located at Uptown Bonifacio, 36th Street, 9th Avenue, Taguig. For more information, follow them on Facebook and Instagram
