The extended ranking is part of 50 Best’s strategy to recognize and shine a spotlight on a greater number of establishments across the region. This year’s 51 to 100 list features some of the best drinking spots in Asia from 24 different cities and is a sneak peek before the big reveal of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022 on April 28. Two bars from the Philippines, OTO and The Curator, made it to the extended list. Poblacion bar OTO slips down a couple of notches to No. 63 from last year’s No. 61 slot while The Curator dropped from last year’s No. 42 spot to No. 62. The Curator drops to No. 62 OTO takes the No. 63 slot This year’s extended list includes 23 first-time entries and features ten bars from 2021’s top 50, including 2019’s Asia’s Best Bar, Hong Kong’s The Old Man, and Tokyo’s legendary Bar High Five. Japan has nine bars on the list led by Ark Lounge at No.67, while Singapore also secures nine spots led by D.Bespoke at No.58. Hong Kong follows with five bars, led by Tell Camilla at No. 53. This year also marks Nepal’s debut to the list with Blackbird from Kathmandu.
