This Pantone color of the year inspired cocktail is shimmery, citrus, tart, and spirit forward. Swirl the cocktail pick and the liquid would look magical.

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml blue pea infused gin (Bombay Sapphire)
  • 5 ml Malibu rum
  • 20 ml grapefruit juice
  • 5 ml fresh lemon juice (adjust if depending on the lemon fruit)
  • 15 ml sugar syrup (adjust sweetness if necessary)
  • a pinch of violet luster

How to Infuse Gin with Blue Pea Flower:

  1. In a 300 ml bottle container, add 20 pieces blue pea flower and let it infuse overnight until the liquid turns blue.

How to make Blue Pea Flower round ice:

  1. In a round molder, add cooled boiled water, drop in 1 blue pea flower and freeze in the refrigerator.

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients in a shaker, add ice, and shake until chilled.
  2. In a martini glass put the blue pea herb ice, and strain in the blue cocktail.
  3. Garnish with grapefruit peel tied in a cocktail pick.
