Gin is a spirit that is near and dear to us. Over the years, we’ve made numerous recipes using this diverse and delicious spirit, done tastings to explore its nuances in flavor, mounted events for World Gin Day, and even extending it to a month-long celebration.

While we can’t go partying just yet, it doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy and raise our glasses to this spirit that has captured our hearts, imagination, and taste buds. We’ve compiled three simple yet tasty cocktails for you to make at home to mark this year’s World Gin Day. Cheers!

Gin Pomelo

Gin Pom became a hit in the ‘90s when a popular powdered juice brand launched litro packs of pomelo juice and it was made readily available in convenient stores. The drink was so popular that the Radioactive Sago Project even released a song in 2004 entitled “Gin Pomelo” with repeated lyrics of, well, just “gin pomelo.”

Gin Garden

The Gin and Tonic Buffet is a great concept for any occasion. Lay out various fruits, herbs, spices, and gins on a table and pick and choose which combinations you want to sample. You can also do some research on the flavor profiles on each kind of gin and see what the brands suggest you pair their spirits with.
