OTO, one of Poblacion’s cocktail havens (number 47 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019), launched their monthly cocktail collaborations starting with different brands to help out displaced bartenders and baristas during these unprecedented times. Their first cocktail collaboration is with Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky and features two cocktails for you to choose from. Shuffle & Repeat Shuffle & Repeat – Peanut Butter Washed Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whiskey, Dry Vermouth, Averna, Creme de Mure, Angostura Bitters Burning Love (Clarified Milk Punch) Burning Love – Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whiskey, Coconut Liqueur, Passionfruit Liqueur, Cinnamon Syrup, Mango Juice, Lemon Juice, Milk Each cocktail goes for Php 250 a bottle, with a big part of the proceeds going to providing relief (groceries) for displaced bartenders and baristas in the Poblacion area. “Hopefully, we’re able to do it every month with different brands just to really connect the dots and spread the love during these trying times,” says OTO’s David Ong. “Consequently, the cocktails will change as well.” Not only do you get to try tasty new cocktails, but you’ll also help out the people behind the bar that have made our nights out in Poblacion memorable.
