Made with cognac, lemon juice, triple sec, and rum, Between the Sheets is a sweeter variant of the sidecar that dates back to the prohibition era. It is often credited to Harry McElhone of Harry’s New York bar in Paris, but some historians also claim that it originated in French brothels and was a favorite of prostitutes. Whatever its origins were, it has definitely stood the test of time. This drink is on the heavy side. If you like cognac or rum cocktails, this is worth trying.
