July 14 marks Bastille Day (La Fête Nationale / The National Day), and celebrations are held throughout France and various parts of the world. This day commemorates the start of the French Revolution with the Storming of Bastille (a fortress-prison in Paris) on July 14, 1789.

Do as the French Do, enjoy this festive French holiday with a glass of spirited cocktail in hand! Here’s a fun cocktail to drink for the special occasion.

Ingredients

30 ml J.J. Whitley Elderflower Gin
15 ml Monin Green Apple Purée
30 ml Lemon juice
2 pcs Flat Parsley 
15 ml Yellow Chartreuse 
3 drops Lemon bitters (optional)

Directions

Add all ingredients in a shaker. 
Add ice and shake.
Strain into a champagne flute and garnish with a dehydrated apple wheel.
