Okinawa 25 is a complex cocktail that grows on you. It has a pome fruit complexity, deep sweetness, with notes of green pear and just a touch of Chardonnay, and a surprisingly floral finish. Take a few sips to really appreciate the flavors and enjoy this cocktail over the holidays. Perfect for getting into the spirit of the season. Ingredients: 30 ml Okinawa Gin 15 ml lemon juice 20 ml Cardamom, Pear & Chardonnay Syrup 2 dashes Jerry Thomas Bitters How to make Cardamom, Pear & Chardonnay Syrup: 1 cup sugar 2 pears (slice in half) Cardamom (6 pods cracked) 1 cup Chardonnay In a sauce pan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in Chardonnay. Place halved pears in mixture and add cardamom pods. Muddle the pears once they are soft. Simmer for 20 mins. Let mixture cool and strain into a container. Directions for cocktail: Pour ingredient into a shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain into a stemmed glass. Express oils from lemon peel and use as a garnish.
