The rainy season has officially started, and the cold breeze is wafting in the air. We’ve compiled rainy day drink recipes to for warming up on the coldest days. From mocktails to cocktails, check out these recipes suited liven you up on bed-weather days.

1) Mulled Pineapple

With the temperature going down, the cold weather demands for warming drinks. 2) Ovaltine Old Fashioned

It’s sweet, chocolatey, and spirit-forward. This treat is guaranteed to warm you up after a glass. The recipe brings the chocolatey sweetness of Ovaltine together with the smokiness of Johnnie Walker Double Black. 3) Hot Vanilla Drink 

Relax with this comforting drink that everyone can enjoy. Hot Vanilla tastes like hot vanilla ice cream, with deep notes of cinnamon to balance the sweetness. 4) Kettle Weather

Kat created this cocktail as a warming treat for the gloomy season. “After a night of mixing drinks behind the bar, I just want something comforting and makes use of leftover ingredients that would otherwise go to waste,” shares Kat. This recipe works with citrus, apples, or pineapples, depending on your taste and what you have on your fridge feel free to experiment! 5) Gone Girl

 

Nothing to warm you up like a spirit-forward rum Old Fashioned. Rum takes center stage in Gone Girl. The coconut of the lambanog brings out the vanilla notes of Don Papa, while the hint of coffee rounds out the sweetness in this spirit forward drink. 6) Furiosa

Furiosa takes its name from the female lead of the dystopian film Mad Max: Fury Road. Brave, fierce, and fearless, Furiosa fought to be free. This fiery cocktail with a kick will perk you up on lazy bed-weather days. Hanami Gin’s floral notes anchor this drink as we add fruity sweetness and spice to it. 7) Champorado Old Fashioned paired with Chicharon

Champorado, a Filipino chocolate rice porridge, is an excellent treat for the cold season. 8) Salabat

Salabat is a traditional Filipino tea made with fresh ginger. The spicy heat of the ginger soothes sore throats and relieves cough and colds. 9) Salamangkero

Here’s what to drink when you’re feeling under the weather but you still want to be a little naughty. It’s refreshing and easy to drink, like iced tea, with notes of floral sweetness of the bergamot and just a hint of the spicy ginger kick. Click to watch the drink recipe

10) Dr. Daniels

It is said that bourbon has some health benefits, as it can protect your heart and battle the common cold. Dr. Daniels is here to cure whatever ails you. We cannot get over how divine it smells. When you make it, your kitchen will smell like a cross between a teashop and a cake shop. You’ll never want to leave. This is a comforting concoction made of Jack Daniels, almond milk, honey, vanilla, chai tea syrup, nutmeg, ginger and star anise, crafted to make anyone feel better. It’s a hug in a cup. 11) Hot Rum

This Hot Rum Toddy is a welcome respite from the wet weather. This rum-based drink will warm you up on chilly nights. The combination of cinnamon and nutmeg gives it an earthy aroma and flavor, with a hint of citrus from the lemon. When you think of drinks, maybe one of the last ingredients you would think to put is butter, but that’s exactly what we added.
