A New Taste Experience: Chivas Regal Extra Is Its First New Blend Since 2007

Chivas Regal Extra—Chivas Regal’s first new expression since 2007—joins the core Chivas Regal portfolio between Chivas Regal 12 Year Old and Chivas Regal 18 Year Old.

Chivas master blender Colin Scott, crafted the latest blend from the rarest malt whiskies from the Chivas inventory combined with a selection of malt whiskies matured in Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a rich 40 percent ABV blended Scotch packed with the rich sweetness of dark fruits and dark chocolate balanced with herbal honey and a whisper of smoke. The fruity and sweet nose has ripe pear, toffee, milk chocolate, and ginger notes. The fruit flavors continue on the palate with notes of melon, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, and a hint of almond.

Chivas Regal Extra continues the legacy of founding brothers James and John Chivas, who pioneered the art of blending whiskies in the 19^th Century. The new bottle complements the core range of the Chivas portfolio with a rich and distinct tasting blend.
